Each gown is made-to-order and thoughtfully developed through consultations, sketching, sourcing, fittings, and detailed finishing.
Due to the handmade nature of our work, availability is extremely limited.

01. Inquiry & Consultation: Begin by submitting your inquiry form and scheduling a consultation. During this stage, we’ll discuss your vision, silhouette preferences, color palette, timeline, and overall aesthetic.
02. Design Development: After your consultation, your gown concept will be developed through sketches, sourcing, and fabric selection tailored specifically to your vision.
03. Measurements & Fittings: Once the design and materials are finalized, our artisans get to work, bringing your dream garment to life!
04. Production: Your gown is handcrafted through detailed construction, embellishment, draping, and finishing techniques.
05. Final Fitting & Delivery: Final adjustments are completed before pickup or shipment to ensure your gown fits beautifully and feels unforgettable.

When should I book my prom gown?
We strongly recommend booking during Priority Booking season (July–August) for the best availability, sourcing options, and production timeline.
Rush fees begin in March 2027, and availability becomes extremely limited during peak prom season.
How many prom clients will Je Suis accept?
To maintain quality and ensure each client receives a personalized experience, Je Suis accepts a limited number of prom clients each season.
Once booking capacity is reached, the waitlist will officially close.

Consultations are designed to fully understand your vision and begin developing your custom gown experience.

Is the consultation fee applied toward the gown?
Yes. Consultation fees are credited toward your final gown total once your order is officially booked.
Do you create exact replicas of dresses?
No.
Je Suis does not recreate exact replicas of other designers’ work. Inspiration photos are welcome and used as creative direction, but every Je Suis gown is uniquely designed.
Can I bring my own fabric?
In some cases, yes.
However, all client-provided fabrics must be approved by Je Suis prior to purchase or production to ensure quality, compatibility, and construction integrity.
Certain couture-level gowns require fabrics sourced directly through Je Suis.
How many fittings are required?
The number of fittings depends on the complexity of your gown.
Most gowns require:
- 2–4 fittings for local clients
- virtual fitting approvals for remote clients
More intricate gowns may require additional fittings.
What happens if my measurements change?
Minor alterations may be accommodated depending on timing and production stage.
Significant measurement changes after production begins may result in additional alteration fees.
Do you work with out-of-state or international clients?
Yes.
Je Suis works with clients worldwide through virtual consultations, remote measurements, and shipping coordination.
Please note that highly structured corset gowns may require in-person fittings.
How long does the process take?
Production timelines vary depending on the gown’s complexity and booking period.
Most prom gowns require:

This is why early booking is highly encouraged.
Do you offer rush orders?
Yes, based on availability.
Rush fees begin in March and vary depending on the timeline and complexity of the gown.
Not all gowns qualify for rush production.
What payment plans do you offer?
Flexible payment plans are available for select orders.
A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your production slot and begin sourcing materials.
Final balances must be completed before pickup or shipment.
What happens after I submit my inquiry form?
Once your inquiry is reviewed, you will receive:

Please allow 2–5 business days for responses during high-volume periods.
What if I need my gown shipped?
Domestic and international shipping options are available.
Shipping fees, customs duties, and insurance are the responsibility of the client.

Absolutely.
Parents and guardians are welcome to attend consultations and fittings.
